Sheaf Valley Gardens - Leons Garden

The Leons Garden

David and Pamela had worked hard on converting an old water tower into a truely lovely home and wanted a family and entertaining garden to match. The front garden is a wildlife Mecca. The central lawn is surrounded by wide beds of wildflower turf that'll give a splendid display of everchanging wildflower perennials throughout the spring, summer and Autumn. Running along the side of the garden I am currently planting a mixed native hedgerow. There is a pond nearby which will further serve to attract wildlife. The main features of the rear garden are the large semi circular patio areas, the big lawn for the kids and the curved retaining wall housing the shrub and flower beds. I'll be planting up the back garden in the spring with a mix of shrubs, grasses, complimentary perennials and trees. Check this space in April to see how that's progressing
